Baidu Lands In Japan

Baidu Japan(UPDATE) Is baidu.jp actually designed for the Chinese?  Keso, China's top tech blogger, cited Alexa:-

"Baidu.jp users come from these countries:
China   67.7%
Japan   27.6%

United States   0.9%
Hong Kong   0.9%
Singapore   0.4%"

China's largest search engine Baidu has launched its Japanese-language service.

Baidu Japan, unlike its Chinese counterpart, would not punish users (by denying access) for searching "六四事件" (June 4 Incident) or "法轮功" (Falun Gong).  Suffice it to say, we the people of the People's Republic deserve the extra protection from harmful content.
