Microsoft Kills Another A-list Chinese Blog

Lian Yue, the outspoken Southern Metropolis Daily columnist, certified death of his Chinese blog hosted by Microsoft Live Spaces. To Microsoft's credit, the execution is now much more civilised: last year they literally wiped off Mr Anti's MSN Spaces (as it then was) after the journalist-blogger stepped in for the Beijing News. This time Lian Yue's blog is only inaccessible in China. Old blog posts are preserved.

Now so what? Lian Yue doesn't give a $hit:

"It is so easy to open a new blog. The costs will be insignificant for both bloggers and blog service providers ... Relocation is no big deal. I've nothing to lose."

UPDATE:
ESWN has translated Lian Yue's statement.
